What is Conntac Academy?
The Conntac Academy is an internal format created by employees for employees. The aim is to promote cross-departmental learning and thinking. Everyone in the team has the opportunity to share knowledge – whether after external training, a conference or from their own project experience.
The sessions are deliberately kept low-threshold: A short input format is often sufficient to initiate exciting discussions. Topics come from all areas – from tech to marketing to design. Particularly exciting: A few sessions generate impulses that are later incorporated into our product development or communication strategy.
This often doesn't stop at small exchanges: Sometimes the sessions even develop topics for public online talks or blog posts. In this way, we not only share our knowledge internally, but also carry it out into the industry.
Why does Conntac Academy exist?
In everyday working life, it is easy to get lost in your own departmental tasks. The Academy offers space to:
- To promote “out of the department” thinking
- to make visible what other departments are working on and have achieved
- Create an understanding of challenges across the organization
- to focus on the common goal
In this way, mutual understanding grows – and cooperation becomes even stronger. Especially for new colleagues, the Academy is a good opportunity to gain insights into topics that they would otherwise not be aware of.
Examples from the past show how diverse the content can be:
- Corporate Ambassadors – a session about how each and every one of us can represent the Conntac brand to the outside world.
- UX for Dummies – an easy-to-understand insight into the world of user experience and how it makes our products even better.
- Accessibility & BFSG – an overview of the Accessibility Strengthening Act and its relevance for our app development.
- Gamification in self-service apps – concrete approaches to how playful elements can increase user engagement.
This diversity ensures that every Academy provides new input – and sometimes even food for thought about our strategic direction.
When does the Conntac Academy take place?
Whenever it makes sense to do so. There is deliberately no rigid structure, but an organic rhythm – depending on requirements, topic and motivation. This ensures that the content is up to date, relevant and of high quality.
Whether it's tech, design, marketing or support: Each session broadens your horizons and makes it clear that joint learning is the basis for growing together. The important thing is that it is not about perfection, but about sharing, changing perspectives and learning from one another.
